Pinoy nice job on your year down there. I know its tough sledding down there. Long days and plenty of work for all the team members. I know, I used to do it.

Shiiiitt ain’t that the truth and we a volunteer team. Got home Sunday and aches and pains from competing, bbqing, standing and serving all day. For 3 days straight plus all the pre cook duties....And let’s not forget the hangovers...Took day off Today for extra rest ..and i always say to myself every year was it worth it? So far it’s still a yes ... i enjoy the competition but not the cater cooking ...hmmm.

I cooked it for a long time, and reached the point where I said enough is enough. Now I write checks, and stay in the RV lot down there. So my days are still long, and my hangovers are usually just as large, but the work load is considerably different that what it was in years past, 12 ounce curls these days.
