1 c. crushed pineapple undrained
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 T. butter
2 T. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1/2 tsp. red food coloring
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. canned drained pitted red sour
cherries (save juice
2 T. corn starch
1/2 c. cherry juice
Use saucepan mix together 1st group - heat slowly.
Using small bowl- mix 1/2 cup canned cherry juice wtih corn starch, stir until smooth. Add to fruit mixture. Stir constantly until sauce thickens. Lower heat - simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Serve hot over baked ham or broiled ham slices.
About 2 1/2 c. sauce.
or use
a pre-cooked ham -score sides n top of rind -place whole cloves into scores. Spread a Ham glaze over top...Bake -Smoke or mircowave
At the last 15 minutes of baking -smoking or mircowave mix 7-up with Andrea Dry Chamagne equal parts about 1/2 to 3/4 c. -pour over top n continue cooking till done. Sometimes I surprise myself-LOL
