Hj's Grilled Shrimp.

Grilled Shrimp Hj's

3 garlic cloves. minced well
⅓ c. olive oil
¼ c. tomato sauce
2 Tbsps. red wine vinegar
2 Tbsps. basil fresh  chopped
½ tsp. salt.   optional
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
2 lbs. shrimp fresh  peeled ñ deveined
6 each skewers

Fresh basil or gr onion stems chipped with Romano grated cheesec

Large bowl - stir together garlic - olive oil - tomato sauce ñ red wine vinegar. Season with basil - salt ñ cayenne pepper. Add shrimp to the bowl -  stir til evenly coated. Cover - chill 30 minutes to 1 hour - stir a couple times.

Preheat grill at medium heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers - piercing once near the tail ñ once near the head. Discard marinade.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp on preheated grill 2 to 3 minutes per side or til opaque. Top with more chopped fresh basil or Romano grated cheese

Looks delicious - - - reminds me that I picked up some large shrimps with shell on to grill some Shrimp En Brouchette in a couple of days. :tup:

Oh My golly OldUsedParts. That is making my mouth water. Haven't had since last visit at Pappadeaux's Restaurant ñ I know UR's will be outstanding! I LOVE Shrimp Brouchette.Enjoy my friend ..

Thanks, my mouth was already watering when I saw this post.
There are 2 local places that I go to around here and I really enjoy them.
Being close to the Gulf allows some places to have some real nice ones to work with. :chef:

Nothing better then fresh seafood. Since there is only 1 really good fish place here. I never take anything for granted nor ever have. Friends send me for my birthday gift cards to Pappadeaux's ..Love them for that ñ they give me their $20.00 gift certificates that Pappadeaux's send them ñ with that makes a great meal, cause costs of everthing going up daily ñ looks like recession not far behind. OldUsedParts enjoy the gulf fish ñ maybe one day I'll make it there to visit.
