3 lbs. ground meat lean or use shredded pork or beef
3 onions chop fine
3 tsp. cumin
2 tsp. garlic granular
3 T. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. black pepper
3 ozs. chili powder
8 ozs. Hunt's tomato sauce
1/2 c. corn meal
Add 1 whole pitted black olive to each tamale
Mix all together EXCEPT corn meal.
Form 1 tablespoon into small meat roll. Roll in corn meal. Roll in wet tamale papers ñ layer in large pot. Pour gravy over layered tamales
~Chili Sauce
3 quarts water
Salt ñ pepper to taste
2 ozs. chili powder
1 T. cumin or to ur taste
Touch Mexican oregano to ur taste
1 tsp. garlic granular
Onion powder to taste
8 oz. tomato sauce
Cook 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool. Makes approximately 10 dozen tamales. Freeze in juice
Want them Hot add lots of cayenne pepper
