If you like Bread & Butter Pickles.............

Postby Rambo » Sat Apr 06, 2019 8:16 pm

You've got to try these. My Wife brought home a jar about 3 months ago and they are a staple now. And guess where they are? Wal-Mart! They're sweet, they're Hot, I love'em and I'm a pickle snob. I make pickles every year and they're not this good

Emm and Sooner; I promise, you won't be disappointed. I'm going to add a 1/2 cup of Maple syrup to my pickle mix this year and try to duplicate it.

Wife grows our pickles but we call them gerkins, I pickle them whole and they are very sought after. This past season was a disaster for pickles though. I normally get about 20 jars a year, but the extreme heat here I only got enough for 4 jars. Great with cheese board.

I do them in about 350 ml jars. Usually 1 for 1 swap. My win. Crays here are about $30.

Must be some dayum good pickles for $30. Meanwhile since the Hijack; if any of you have a WalMart near by and don’t make your own pickles, give these a try.
