Salsa With a Habenaro

Postby Hj » Fri Aug 07, 2009 6:03 pm

This my new one Makes 56 ozs. take off from how I have always made it.

Stays great in the refrigerator for weeks expect for arround here -its gone either neighbors want it or it's used in other recipes or eaten.

Bravitti chopper with 2 blades I use
Everything in the blender

1 anaheim chile pepper large seeded cut in pieces
1-2 serrano chile peppers with seeds cut in half or use jalapeno
1 habanero seeded- USE GLOVES
1 onion-medium to large (red or white or 1 bunch green onions with few stems
1/4 of peeled lemon or lime thrown in
Kosher salt large pinch -add more latter
1/4 tsp. Mexican orgeano powder ( optional use if u have okay if not
Garlic granular I just pour dump from the huge container over the top. or use 6 cloves large
1/2 palmful FRESH cilanto leaves
add little water about 1-2 inches from bottom to start the blender
cover pluse or chop till well chopped

Remove cover adding

1) 28 oz. can Hunt's Petite Diced Tomatoes with juice
cover start blender till well blended
Taste n might need more salt n garlic granular I use alot.
Blend it up remove n chill well

The more it sits in refrigerator the more the flavors blend

Sometimes of the year the peppers are much hotter..like summer they are hotter.

This has great flavors..

When I get to feeling like typing it all out

I'll post grilled salsa served hot or cold..

Habernaro Salsa
is easily made with couple habenaros seeded n yellow pear tomatoes.. with seasonings..
A mistake is sometimes a great creation
