Roasted a small bag of Pecans today with butter and Suckle Busters SPG. I will definitely do this again.

wait till you discover no butter, then spritz with whiskey mixed with honey and sprinkle with SPG and smoke...  and it works with raw almonds, as you cook them they get tender and the spritzing and seasoning make them soooo good

one of the many I have in my arsenal....

Smoked almonds

Start with 2 to 2 1/4 cups of raw almonds in a bowl.

Add 3 table spoons of whiskey; 1 tablespoon of Imation butter extract and 1 tablespoon
of coconut extract.

Stir to coat the nuts, every 20 to 30 minutes for about 3 hours or until all whiskey and
extract is gone from the bowl.

coat nuts with 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup. more if sweetness is desired.

Spray a screen shelf with pam other wise nuts stick like cement.

Smoke at 270 or so for about 3 hours until crunchy.

Give this a try and let me know.... No pictures this goes back before I knew how to insert pictures in my how to files :D
