Did someone mention "CAKE"?

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Dec 30, 2020 12:20 pm

Believe it or not my Family's very Favorite Cake for me to Bake comes from Pg. 178 of Tony Chachere's Cajun Country Cook Book and is called the "Sock It To Me Cake" (see recipe below). Thanks to my Oldest Son, it has been renamed "The Drippy Cake" probably because of the Icing Topping and the Tube Pan (Bundt) makes it offer lots of Icing per slice to the Consumer.

I'll eat that. After reading the recipe I'm sure it tastes great.

My grandmother used to make that cake. It’s darn good. Don’t know if it was her favorite, I think she just liked saying “shock it to me cake”. Made her feel hip?

Somebody in our family used to make that cake…I just can’t remember who it was.

I remember the cake though and it was very good. Looks really good Parts.
