Quarantine Candy Kinda

Postby OldUsedParts » Tue Jan 05, 2021 12:30 pm

Since our Families didn't gather for the Holidays at all, we didn't bother making the typical Holiday Sweets as usual. HOWEVER, this doesn't mean we didn't miss them so I decided to fix a few batches of Mom's Pinoche Candy (she called it Brown Sugar Fudge) :laughing7:  :D Making this candy can be a coin toss or it will turn "sugary" on you. I fixed two batches this morning and the first batch was a little sugary when I cut it into serving sizes. However, the second batch looks like it might be better once it sets but it could end up being "spoon candy" :dont: :laughing7:

FWIW, this recipe came from Comanche/Duncan, Oklahoma via the Red River. :laughing7: :texas:

So sad to see you and the rest of the world locked up, when we are playing rugby and there's a cricket test going on 20 min drive away. No social distancing. Enjoy family time via zoom if you have too.
