Ace HW, Sucklebusters , Hotch n Shelly

Postby bowhnter » Sat Jun 03, 2023 6:32 pm

I had a dual purpose to hit the Ace HW today, one was to look at a Weber 26” kettle.

The other was to see what Hotch n Shelly were up to. They had the Sucklebusters tent up, cookers going, and plenty of SB rubs on hand to test.
Don’t ask me why I didn’t take any pictures :dont:

Picked me up a SPG Hot, came home and put it on a leftover burger, and some fries. That’s some good stuff!

My Celina Ace Hardware owner, Dan Myers, asked us to cook for the ACE Hardware Traeger Days event.
We have cooked there many time over the years. I must say I did enjoy cooking on the Ironwood XL. Had it at 300 all day.
Mike was good to see you and thanks for stopping by.
We were out of everything at 2:00! Right on time!!
We served up some 1836 Burger Balls, Honey BBQ pork tenderloins and 3 rounds of pulled pork sliders.
Ash Kickin Honey Chipotle, Tailgators Party rub and Hog Waller!
Along with Shelly's Spicy Smoked Cheese Corn Casserole and her amazing cold served SuckleBusters Chicken Salad on a Ritz cracker.
It was a long hot day and were both spent!
But we had a great time and met a lot of good folks. Served over 200 people.
