there is one that we stop at frequently off of I-45 and I couldn't believe the increase in size, the last time we stopped by - - WOW, we even had to park in the rear. as much as Sherry likes their 'DRY' Venison Sausage Links, she would probably have me walk, unlimited distances just to have some :whiteflag:

Believe me when I say it is hot lol.
The flavor is awesome I already told Dan the story of me throwing about a 1/8 teaspoon in my mouth to the back of my throat lol.

Is it " Kill ur taste buds hot " that keeps you from tasting anything else after the first hit ?
I like hot, but not nuclear hot.

It is a good hot brother.
I was just not expecting the heat when it hit the back of my throat. I am used to the regular SPG and I just didn't think the heat level would be as much as it was. I see this SPG bringing Butts and wings to a whole new level. Especially if you use say Sweet Pecan as a base rub.

Perfect info, Thank You !

SPG and Pecan have always been my 2 favorite seasonings in the line up. The Peach and Honey sauces are my favorite as well. I've been wanting to try the 1836 so that's my next purchase.
I'm gonna give the Hot SPG a shot too.

1836 is my favorite absolute favorite of the line up, I have hog wallerin, clucker dust, spg, camp fire steak but 1836 is my most favorite, all due to the black pepper flavor it gives...
as far a hot there is a place called penderys in the dfw area that caters to the chili festival at Terlingua, they have something called "temper temper" hottest stuff ever, I truly believe this stuff would cut steel, so hot when I make chili I use this stuff in a salt shaker so as to not overpower the meat stew, a 1/4 teaspoon will overpower 2 pounds of meat for me, then again maybe I'm a wuss... :dont:
