Work Chili Throw Down Coming - Need ideas

Postby Smoking Piney » Thu Oct 31, 2019 8:21 pm

Qualification - I know JACK about good chili........and I need some solid Texas advice.

We have a fund raising chili contest coming up at work. I'm looking for something not too hot for the masses, but still stands out.

Can you folks recommend some recipes? :D

Check this website out. My wife uses one of them (I will try and find out which one). This is the organization that governs the Terlingua Chili Cook Off. They post past winners recipes. Some are complicated and some not so much.

Using different types of meats, beef/pork/chicken/etc and fire roasting the veggies really adds to Chili - IMHO
I only do this once or twice a year because of the added work but we really like it.
