Old-School Favorite

Postby Williep » Fri Jan 31, 2020 8:04 am

I was looking through the freezer to see what I could find and I came across some chili that I made a few month's ago. I took it out to thaw and for some strange reason I got to thinking :dont: about the mid 60's when I played little league baseball and at the ball park you could get the best chili dog or frito pie, so yesterday evening I had frito pie for dinner, I haven't had this in year's and it was pretty dang good. The next thing you know, this weekend I may be putting peanut's in my beer, I don't drink coke.  :texas:

Frito Pie
My oh my
How the taste buds cry
For Frito Pie

When I was in Wharton County Jr. College, at least every other day I'd stop at the Local Drive-In and get one.
They just opened up the side edge of a small bag of Fritos and then dumped in the Chili, Cheez and Own-Yawns.
YUM YUM YUM

I LOVE Frito pies. Unfortunately I am only able to handle them every six months.
