Rest of Alfredo Sauce
I realized today that I just had a little bit of Alfredo Sauce left in the bottle so I dumped it onto some sauteed cocktail shrimps, fettercheenie and added some Slap Yo Mama. Made Garlic Bread Sticks from a Hot Dawg Bun and Lunch was "HAD".

Plate's a little ugly and I wish I'd had more sauce but it sure ate good. Had lots of shrimp also.

The garlic bread sticks was creative. Do you mind sharing what you did?

Re: Rest of Alfredo Sauce
not at all, Sir, all I did was take one hot dog bun, separate it into 2 pieces using the existing split in the bun, then I cut those 2 pieces in half longways. Then I spread butter on the non-crust sides and sprinkledd with Garlic Salt. Placed on a baking sheet and put in the oven on Broil until barely starting to toast. Taste wise they were great. I think next time I'll buy a bun that is more evenly split than a standard Hot Dog Bun.

Definitely Redneck influenced but with a Larapin taste.
Don't know if Gator and Gang have a Garlic Salt or not. I've been using a large jug of Lawry's Garlic Salt for a very long time.

There are always more buns than you have dogs, so I have to try this.

Looks good from here, OUP! My 16yo son won't eat garlic toast if I don't make it out of hot dog or hamburger buns. That's just what we had when I was growing up. I made some when he was little out of necessity and now that's all he wants.

I gotta be honest, Y'all, this was the first time I've used Hot Dog Buns - - - I usually use a large French Loaf but I've spoiled myself now
