Thanks, Neighbor - - - one thing I can say was "Happy Wife, Happy Life" - those ground smoked ham hocks were the Atlas Catalyst

Did you use the same water you boiled the ham hock's in ??? If not, I bet that would add more flavor.

I had the ham hock water saved just in case - - - but after "we" tasted the Soup, we decided not to add it :D

Debbie whipped up a pot of white beans, smoked rib tips and sausage last night for supper.
I have a dedicated cornbread pan as well. I love cooking in my black iron. :D
