The subject title doesn't mean the Salmon Patties, Roasted and Fried Okra or Sweet Corn - - WHAT IT REFERS TO IS - - - the Louisiana Red Sauce that I accidently squirted into my right eye as I prepared to sit down and eat.

OUCH - - - Initial Pain was Intense but fortunately I had an open vial of my special eye drops near by and it only took seconds to grab it and pile into bed. I emptied what was left into my eye and used a cool wet rag that the Wiffy had brought to me. I was afraid that this was a major BOO BOO and I might be headed to the Doctor, HOWEVER, within 15 min I was chowing down on my Plate of goodies. "Lesson Learned" when the cap on Hot Sauce breaks, chunk Sauce don't try and used it anyhow.

I've heard of pink eye. Don't know how to characterize this.

Can't call it Red Eye, at least not in Texas cause that means Whiskey, however, with all of the tears that I was producing mixed with the red sauce, it probably was a little PINKISH.

Kind of the same pain as I had the other day chopping a jalapeno up for an omelet and then unconsciously rubbing my eye without washing my hand. I knew real fast it was a mistake lol.

I've done something similar, forgetting to wash my hands. Now I wear food gloves.

I don’t think vinegar salt and pepper is a cure fer declining eyesight.

Reminds me of my college roommate who convinced himself he could cure the flu by drinking a bottle of tequila (“no germ can live in that much alcohol in my bloodstream”). Ended up in the quack shack (hospital on campus). Went to visit and asked the doc if he had killed the flu. He said “yep, both flu and liver are about dead”.
