Salsa Saturday
I’ve finally grown a sufficient amount of late summer Roma’s to make a batch of Smoked Salsa. I’ll fire up the Pit in the morning and smoke the tomatoes. I’m going to spatchcock a chicken while I have the pit fired up

Re: Salsa Saturday
It all turned out really good. If I could find smoked Salsa already made up I’d probably quit doing this; it’s a lot of work

I also feel that way about smoked Salsa and Jalapeno Jelly
The Sto-bought just ain't near as Larapin, so I procrastinate and eventually just "do-it"

Re: Salsa Saturday
I used my meat grinder again and it’s the only way to go when you have a bunch of tomatoes. I did change to the smaller plate this time and I like the texture better than the coarse plate
