Stuffed and Fried Pork Chop

Postby OldUsedParts » Tue Aug 24, 2021 1:26 pm

Had the HEB Butcher cut me 2 thick bone-in Pork Chops the other day and I had every intention of Stuffing them both with a Pineapple Mix Stuffing and cooking them over some Kingsford Charcoal. However, the Wiffy wanted her's Fried so I Fried her's and fixed mine in the Oven with the Pineapple Stuffing. Two Side were what my Granny called "soft fries and onions (own-yawns) plus an ear of Sweet Corn. Both Chops turned out juicy and tender and the Taters were soft and very tasty.

That looks delicious! Your stuffed chop looks super, but I'm with Mrs. Parts - I'll take mine fried too. :D
Hope she is feeling well. That meal should contribute to that.

Your soft fries with onions look very similar to what I just call Fried Taters. I love them and especially like to have them with beans and cornbread.

As they said: it looks delicious. I think I would go for the fried one.

I love Pineapple, but just not in the food. Fresh Pineapple and vanilla ice is the thing.

Looks awesome. I wish my wife liked more stuff floured and fried. Something about trying to eat healthier, blah blah blah. Guess I’ll just have to keep grilling and smoking. Gonna have to look into the pineapple stuffing idea.
