Smashed potatoes

Postby Copasspupil » Sun Sep 05, 2021 7:09 pm

Anyone ever done these? Small potatoes boiled then smashed. Depending on thickness after will make a crispy chip like consistency or fluffier thicker potato. Add butter and oil bake until done. Season to taste. Made a pan and a half 5 people and ladies minus me finished off the entire batch.

Got the recipe from the land down under…

Added a little tri tip also. Beef that’s what’s for dinner

Purple potatoes

Somewhere between a red skin and russet. Not at all like a Yukon

YES! Love those. My wife calls them crash potatoes (no idea why) but man they are good eating. Everything looks great there!

So the three flavors were: curly fry seasoning, rosemary garlic, and black pepper/garlic and parm cheese
