I decided to let the foods that are the Wiffy's favorites to make up the menu for today and she was very very pleased.
She loves Chicken Fried Chicken Breasts with Cream Gravy so it got the Entre Call.
Then for sides I chose her favorite Veggies which were Fried Okra and Fried Squash.
Fixed some Rice also to enjoy the Gravy with along with the Chicken.
Rarely will she ever clean her plate, but there wasn't anything except her fork laying on the plate when she finished.
I learned very quickly that I'd better stay on my toes because there were 3 large Skillets and a small sauce pan on the Stove all at once.
For a minute I could have used two more arms and some roller skates but I finally got my "rhythm" down and it all came out together.
Her exact words were "Honey, that's the best Dinner that you have ever Cooked for me"
It also brought back memories of some very Special Ladies that cooked for me when I was growing up.

Re: Southern Cooking Overload
She's hanging in there and somewhat Blessed, thank God.
She has lots of things going on now but so far so good.
Thanks for asking, Mike
Just for Grins:
I asked her what she wanted for Breakfast so she could take her morning meds and she replied:
"do you mind fixing me a plate of those Nachos with your homemade Jalapeno Jelly?"
Meds are down and so are the Nachos

You're a good man, Parts.
The meal looks tasty and I'm sure my plate would be clean, too

Re: Southern Cooking Overload
More Suthern Grub for lunch today.
This time it was Blackened Tilapia in the Oven
Sweet Corn from the Cob
Birds-Eye Crispy Green Beans
and
Skillet Fried Okra
I used Zatarin's Blackening Spice instead of Old Bay but it was too spicy for the Missus so I need to pick up some Old Bay next time.
