And he sends me this pic. So would you eat them? Sausage waffle dipped batter grilled then added toppings. I said YES! What would you say?

In this environment, he’d probably make more money clear hanging out the window at Macdoland’s saying, “ pull forward “.

I'd probably eat it if it was handed to me but it's not something that I would order or try fixing. :dont: :whiteflag:

I would try it but it does not sound appealing to me. I love a good corn dog straight out of the grease with ketchup. :D

I might misunderstand but is it a sausage inside?

In that case it's similar to what many people (except me) eat here. Hot dog in a waffle and guacamole.

I haven't tried it, but your friend may have some relatives up here?

It's called pøffel which translates to a combination of (hot) dog and waffle = doffle.Image

Yes it is a sausage link dipped and cooked on a flat top then added maple flavor and bacon bits on top. I would like to see a better color on the waffle mixture for sure.

That was my first thought. Somehow think deep frying is the tired and true cooking method. As far as the toppings, different strokes. Probably would try one, especially at a fair or such.
