Time for a basketball snack

Postby GTR » Sat Jan 01, 2022 1:50 pm

Been putting off this cook for a couple weeks. Seeing the polar vortex heading our way the next few days, today is the day. Just waiting on the chimney to do it’s thing.
1# Owens breakfast sausage
1# Owens spicy breakfast sausage
1# Reynaldo’s beef chorizo (only had beef)
1pk. Johnsonville hatch brawts
2.75# or 28 slices of thick cut bacon

Forgot to mention, I’m a college basketball nut. Not sure why. I totally blow at the game. But love to watch the kids playing for the pure love of the game.

13:00 on the clock. Piggy is down for a little siesta in the dry sauna with Kingsford & a couple of pecan splits. Will glaze with a little agave nectar towards the end.

Thanks all. It had been a while since I’d done a full size. It’s about 26* now so glad I got off my backside yesterday.
