Cottage Pie

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Tue Apr 05, 2022 12:39 pm

Which I understand is the term if made with beef. As opposed to shepherd's pie. Layer of ground beef and such, topped with mashed potato, baked in a casserole dish.

The beef base, which we make in bulk and then can adapt to do lotsa stuff. This one had added vejables.

Looks GREAT. I don’t make that enough. I’ve got a freezer full of ground venison and wild hog and we seem to cycle through the same 7-8 meals with that. Need to add cottage/Shepard’s pie to that.
