What a Crock of .........

Postby The Pocono Ring Shop » Tue Oct 11, 2022 11:59 am

I'm doing some other deserts today and needed to get away from sugar for a while so I went the opposite direction via Salt..

I bought these knock off Crocks one year ago on vacation up north and wanted to make French Onion Soup for a while now. I've used Provolone in the past but I know Gruyere was the way to go and it was the best choice.
Usually I would use Beef Stock but all I had was Beef Broth. Definitely not as salty but still very good.

Good little something to eat to hold me over til later.

They're predicting highs in the 60s sometime next week and it's gonna be either Soup or Chili "time".
Thanks for the inspiration and prompt   :chef: :salut:
