Collards and Cornbread

I'm really looking forward to Lunch today - - - got some Collards ready to Cook and some Sweet Yeller Cornbread ready for the Cast Iron Skillet.
These are the "Pot Liquor ingredients"

50's here today also - - - well the Collards and Cornbread "ate" real good but I realized that they taste better during growing season and in the early Fall - - - no problem because they ate OK. :tup: :cheers: :chef:

My parents never would eat fresh greens or can greens til after the first frost. :?

10-4 - - - I prefer FALL COLLARDS myself and "these" would have been better if that had been the case - - - but they were beautiful and I was Weak. :whiteflag:
