I picked up a couple of bunches of "Collard Greens" last week and when I put them in my basket, I thought to myself that these might not be ready or even good ?yet? In case you didn't know, Collard taste much better if they've been hit buy a frost or light freeze.

Re: Shoulda waited until a Frost/Freeze
thanks S.T. - - I"m wondering if some time in the Freezer would give them that Fall Collard taste that you get after a light frost or freeze on them when they're in the Garden/Ground??????????????

Re: Shoulda waited until a Frost/Freeze
since the wife always buys frozen our greens come frost kissed...
So I would think an overnight stay in the freezer would accomplish the task but I have never tried that
