Jalapeño Popper Hasselback Chicken

Postby tex_toby » Fri Nov 10, 2023 9:27 am

I tried a new recipe last night. It's one I saved a couple of years ago, but never did it back then. I ran across it yesterday morning and decided it was time. Of course I had to add some SuckleBusters in there for good measure and tweaked it to my liking. One bit of advice - Do not....I repeat, DO NOT count the calories of this dish. :whiteflag:

Mix together in bowl:
1 package of softened cream cheese
6 diced jalapeños
1 TBSP of salt
1 TBSP of pepper
1 Cup of shredded mozzarella
1 Cup of shredded cheddar
1 Cup of heavy cream

Slice 4 chicken breasts hasselback style and place in an oiled baking dish or aluminum pan. I then seasoned the chicken breasts with Sucklebusters 1836 & Jalapeño Gunpowder. Next, alternate stuffing each slice with cheddar and cooked bacon. Then, spoon the pre-mixed ingredients over each stuffed chicken breast. Bake 50 minutes at 375 degrees. Top with bacon crumbles and dig in!
