Who'da Thunk It ? Ain't the last time either

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Feb 14, 2024 2:56 pm

I had picked up a couple of Sweet Taters the other day and was wondering what I would fix them with :dont:
Well, during the night my Dream Cycle decided to Bake the Sweet Tater as usual and then add some great
Fixins to the eatable part.

I chopped up some Sweet Own-Yawns, HEB Peppered Bacon, Smoked Ham and Sauteed them together.
Then I added some Brown Sugar and Butterand added it all together while everything was still good and warm.

I'll admit that the Bowl is Ugly but the Taste was Awesome and I can't wait until I can do this again.

I think I'll call it "Psycho Dulce Spud Chilie"

cinnamon, butter and brown sugar make a sweet tater un-resistible to me, and sweet taters and pork are meant to be together on my plate!!

I’ve been around the sun a few times, up until about 2 years ago, I never liked sweet potatoes!

:laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: OKRA, what a Conservational Piece of Food - - - some of the French Cajuns even call it "File" (Fee-Lay) because of the slimy texture it can get.
I have LOVED IT ever since my Granny fed it to me for the first time. I like it Cooked every way possible and she loved to stew it so it came out soft and slimy.
My oldest Son does not like it and he calls it "Cross Yer Legs Okra" - - - and you'll have to figger that one out by yourselves. :laughing7: :laughing7:

Yep - I'd eat that
20" x 40" Party Gator Pit
Custom Mobile Stick Burner
Summerset TRL 32" Built-In Grill
Weber Q2200
48" Custom Firepit
Bertello Pizza Oven

I can't always please everybody. I'm not bacon.
