I use WSMs. Just bought my 3rd one.
I think everyone knows how great they are. The only draw back is they are kinda small and need a smoking jacket in the colder weather.
Where can I get info on smokin' jackets? Outside the Playboy Mansion of course..
I would prob need a custom or some instructions on making my own.
Mel's covers should make the things but I don't think he does.
Even in Texas they might make cooking more heat controlled and coal addings less numerous. I'm tired of gettin up at 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM to stoke........the fire.
Are the WSM jackets just around the straight sides or is the lid and bottom also insulated?
What is the general makeup of the covers? I see a heavy canvas with an internal fire and heat proof material. Obviously not Asbestos..
Wonder if the WSM is the same diameter as the Brinkmann or the old Cookin Cajun torpedos....I doubt it. That't be too convienient.
