Probably try another brisket and some ribs. Haven't done a brisket in a while. But, I still have a lot to do, yet. Got that plenum welded on just now. Tried out the new MIG for the first time, works pretty nice.

Thanks! So much better and faster than trying to stick weld this stuff. Dang inverter welders don't do all that great with stick.

Pretty nice, I'm liking it, so far. Came with a MIG gun, TIG rig set up to use with water cooler(not supplied) with a foot pedal, ground clamp and stick rod stinger. Can weld AC aluminum TIG and has pulse TIG as well. All for $2500

Nice!!! I think I'm gonna try and copy that Millscale hinge design for my firebox door, try something different. I got all my internals finished up yesterday, all except for cutting the tuning plates, I ran out of acetylene.

I like the way you did that all with one plate, I'm gonna do mine like that this time. Weld one big piece over the end of the box and cut the door in it, then cover the cut with flat bar. I decided to just put the round bar in the pipe hinges on the firebox, like I did on the first smoker. No need to do anything fancy on a firebox. I'm ready to be done and get some meat in it and see how it does.
I got all my tuning plates cut and smoothed out today. Cut the firebox end plate and the damper plate. I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm wanting to put the golf cart wheels that I have on this one. I don't know anything about steering axles and hubs and spindles and all that, though. I guess I'll have to learn.

I changed the thread title to just cover the whole build.

I had to take it easy yesterday, all that welding inside wore me out. I welded a plate inside the end cap above the firebox hole the day before, wore me out. So, I pretty much just stripped all the red paint off the stack, and took a pic.
