I did make firebox right size and first bbq went very well :-)))))
Some pulled pork, beef ribs and pork belly :cheers:

Try a grate in firebox to lift the wood get oxygen flow . Build fire closer to the wall of the cooking chamber. .try a 6 in diameter stack or double that one . .Good luck
