There’s a man on here, KAM, that can help you but it may be next week; he’s probably at a competition this weekend

KAM is your man. Looks like a complete firebox replacement. Or look up a local guy under welders or steel fabrication in your area.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Is that a homemade smoker, or a store bought?
Post some better pics.

I think we have a member, " Chasdev" that's in your area. maybe he'll see this or, you could send him a private Message. You also could hunt a welding shop, maybe look around Georgetown or some of the smaller communities outside of Gtown for a welder. I'll bet they've got some scarp laying around that would do to make a firebox. If you're going to go to that much trouble I'd try to get it made out of 3/8" if you can

You could have a piece of 3/16" plate rolled and skin it but from what I see just replacing the firebox is probably a better option. If the price of that is more than the chamber is worth look into getting a new smoker.

Would love to find an affordable replacement - the only one I've seen is like $240 bucks or so...

You will spend that much in time and material fixing that one.
