Octagon Shape Stick Burner
I'm considering on building an octagon reverse flow stick burner and am looking for comments from experienced BBQ folks on this forum. I would like to know what you think a smoker with this shape will breathe and cook as compared to other shapes? Any comments on how you think an reverse flow octagon cooker would work? Thank you and I look forward to all the comments.

It will work just fine.
Just make sure you build it so that it breathes properly. Here is a link to the pit Calculator and if you have any questions just ask. It is much easier to adjust plans rather than cut welds loose or patch holes.

There is a full build thread just below

Very well documented, with good pics of his progress across the build. Good luck with your project.
