Postby Weaverspitbbq » Tue Mar 10, 2020 9:27 pm

Made a vertical pit out of a water heater 12 years ago .
Had to cut a foot off bottom..2nd time ..
I know ...buy a good one .. well this one was a homebuilt
Probably spent 30 bucks on it .

Many years ago I was on a Deer Lease with some "Good ol Boys" from San Jacinto County. There was an old Frig at the camp house that was supposed to be hauled off "the first chance someone got" :dont: :laughing7:  :D Well, Friday evening I brought in some Camp Meat (don't ask) that needed to be cooked and eaten there at the Camp that weekend so a couple of those "Bubbas" turned that Frig into an all night smoker and smoked/cooked that whole Bambi that night. By Sunday afternoon it was gone and so were most of the hunters.
