Ribs on top poultry on the bottom. Never put poultry on top of other meats.

Not sure exactly what you are getting but you will want to get a fire going nice and hot to burn off any residual oils, paint, crud etc then season it with cooking oil. If the shelves/racks are removable, wash with soap and water first then do the above. During the seasoning process, you can start to learn your cooker, where the air intake needs to be for a desired temp etc.

I thought I'd hang both the ribs and the chicken with hooks so neither is on top of the other ....

I don't understand why the Google translation is not the best ... you say that before using it I have to wash the grids well and light the fire to burn any residues inside?

Remove grates and wash then with soap and water, and rinse.
Put them back in grill
Light a fire and run for at least 20 minutes before you cook anything.

I lit the fire for about 3 hours after having washed everything well .... in fact it gave off a bad smell of similar thinner products .... now it's perfect and it's already cooking
