Been awhile since I posted on the Forum - hope to be a more regular contributor.
Just sold my Johnson Compact Patio Reverse Flow Smoker in preparation for a new pit I am getting built - wanted to go back to a traditional offset after cooking on the Johnson Smoker for the past 8 to 9 years.
Ordered one of the new 48 x 24 pits from Big Phil's Smoker in Caddo Mills - separate line he is starting. Pit is 3/8th thick - 48 x 24 chamber and 24 x 24 firebox. Hope to have it by then end of January.
Look forward to "re-learning" how to cook on a traditional offset. Will post some photos once I pick it up.

Re: New Offset
Nice little pit. I find that guage configuration to be a bit odd though.
