Hey guys. New to anything having to do with smoke and pellet grills.
Just got my grill put together and did the initial burn-in. I set my temp at 400°, but the analog thermometer stayed at around 500°. Ambient temperature was about 88° in the shade today. Is something I should keep in mind all the time?

Enjoy - - - - Pellet Pooping is a lot of fun expecially once you get the nack of acquiring lots of smoke and good flavor from various wood pellets. I use a lot of Apple Pellets but I also cook a lot of pork. GOOD LUCK
