First Ever Pellet Cook
After 20+ years on a stick burner I bit the bullet and got an Oklahoma Joe’s Rider DLX. All I can say is wow. This is the only way to go, so easy. Brisket and ribs were as good or better than the stick. I definitely had my reservations but I am now convinced.

Gorgeous looking brisket. I can taste that bark from here!
I also had doubts when I switched from my stickburner to a pellet grill, a few years ago. Would it taste like BBQ, would it have any bark, any smoke flavor, yada yada? The very first cook removed any fears. And I've never looked back.

I completely agree, the decision was extremely difficult but I am so glad I made the switch. Actually cooking better bbq now and it is so easy. I made the best chicken quarters I have ever made and all I did was sprinkle some of SB’s finest Clucker, set the temp and when the alarm beeped I took em off.

Hijack away. Congratulations, you will not be sorry. I have started experimenting with different pellets and open to anyone that has any suggestions.
