Hello and happy Sunday everyone. Good news, it did not rain today and felt good enough to change the combustion fan on the Boone, thank you PapaTom, great suggestion. Fired her up and warmed up to 159 instead of 150. I thought maybe the new board is relearning the settings, we’ll she come down to 152, I’ll take that all day long. Shut her down for an hour. I had a turkey tenderloin rubbed with anato oil, black pepper, garlic cloves, Sazon and puertorican cilantro. Sat in the fridge for 5 hours in plastic wrap. Started the Boone and it warmed up to 152, I’ll take it. After warm up set it at 249, reached temperature in 5 to 10 minutes. It held steady between 249 and 250, perfect. Put the tenderloin in and smoked the to an internal of 160. 50 minutes they were temping just right. Boone held 250 through the entire time. Below is the results, juicy and tender as can be, almost did not need a knife :D I am a happy camper! It all worked out. Thank for your kindness and suggestions you all are the best! Cheers!

I don't know if it's the best but Charcoal is much better tasting that Propane and I would prefer it.  :chef:

Doris propane cookers will get up to heat much faster and easily but charcoal will taste better.
