Sent an email to the BS company and asked about the regulator. Sometimes I wonder if the support staff even read the emails. The second answer was a bit disappointing though.ImageImage

I googled a little more. It seems to me that the 28" model has the regulator at the tank side. Anyone here that can confirm this?

If so the double regulator thing won't be an issue.

This will also probably make it easier for Greg to find a connection for the kit he so kindly bought.

Check out the photo. The regulator hangs on the end of the hoseImage

I am still not convinced that 2 regulators in line is a problem. The propane would just flow through one and then the other.

I haven't done much with this, but I'm still looking to buy a Blackstone. I think the 28" model is the one to get. They are not available here. Would any of you be so kind to let me know if you see one advertised on sale?
Maybe they will be reduced when the summer is over?

If anybody here frequents Walmart that is the place to look. They tend to randomly close things like this out and it varies from store to store. I’ve heard some of the stores up north have better grill clearance based mainly on the fact that it’s grilling season around the year down here.

I try to limit my trips to Walmart due to trying to keep my sanity (it’s a mad house) but will definitely look as I go in. Eventually I just can’t avoid and I always wander the grill / outdoor areas when I am there looking for deals.

That's great. I have a us address I can use when ordering online
Many us firms don't deliver abroad. So if you see any online offers, I can order to my us address. I believe you see more of the offers than I do from here.

Don’t think I forgot about this Joe!

This is from Walmart’s Black Friday sales ad. My understanding is the deals will go on sale online the night of Wednesday November 27.

Thank you Bsooner. Appreciate it. You have a good memory! I checked it out. As you say, 27th of November. I'll see if I can get hold of one. Is that a new model? Can't find a 3 burner model elsewhere. Only 1, 2 or 4 burner models.

To me it doesn’t look to be the same build as the other models.

It is supposed to be a new release. I’ll see if I can find more details later.

here is the link to the flyer:

https://www.walmart.com/store/3777/fris ... pe_name=ad

Not a whole lot of detail but it looks like they added a third burner as well as shelves on both sides and a build in lid. I like the lid on my smaller tailgate model. You can close it to trap heat while cooking and eliminates the need for me to haul cheese melting domes along when we are cooking away from the house.

I will keep looking for more details but I somewhere I remember seeing that this is a new model and Walmart exclusive.
