Winter maintenance

Postby Norway Joe » Sun Sep 22, 2019 9:20 am

Winter is nearing so spent a couple of hours on a beautiful Sunday to do som maintenance on the grill.

Took of the front panel and took out the burner tubes. Brushed them clean. Cleaned the igniters that was full of soot. New batteries for lights. Cleaned the bottom pan. Put it all together. Washed outside and incinerated whatever residue in inside.

I do this before winter because I've noticed the igniters doesn't work so well when it's cold. This helps and I'm ready for winter grilling.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

I think a lot of us need to do some pre-cooler weather maintenance, at least I do and I will after it cools off some out there. :salut:

Pre-winter maintenance, never heard of it

Y’alls winters are an entirely different animal from ours. I love vicariously through the pics you, and our northern friends post.

Thanks. Yes our winters are different than yours. Had to look up vicariously so I understood the meaning. lol. There are many great pictures in the forum from all over. I also love all the pictures.

I found this picture. That was actually pretty cool. Explaining the latitude of different cities. As you can can see from the map of north America, Oslo would be far up in Canada.Image
