Has anybody seen one of these or used one. I am thinking of ordering one of these instead of using a ball valve. Any thoughts or reviews would be great.

Looks like an exhaust outlet to me. I guess it would work as an air intake if it seals off tight. CF

I like my 3-1" ball valves, open em all and she gets warmed up to temp really quick

Looks a wee bit on the heavy side for a traditional side mount....and the bottom plate is not curved so, might be hard to seal without an adapter or something.

Man yall are killing me here! Just when I think I know my stuff yall throw something like this out there. Is this used on a UDS or an off set as well? Ball valve? Would that be used for like a reverse flow? If so...thats pretty dang smart. Hmmm...-JD

I think Frank Cox uses those on his units. Looks they'd work just fine.

Those work well for the exhaust if you use a flat top lid
