Quarantine Supplies Getting Low
I am grilling some pork chops tonight and opened my cabinet to find a rub. Thats when I realized my stock was getting low. Normally I have too many (according to my wife) rubs and sauces. Only one bottle of BBQ Sauce left, I can't remember the last time I had only one bottle in the house. I know I can order them online but there is just something about standing in front of a selection of rubs in awesome packaging, shaking and reading labels. If I see rubs anywhere I have to stop and check'em out. How is everyone else doing? Show me a pic of your current selection.

Can't take a pic at the moment but I can tell you that my Rubs and Sauces are ALL from our Forum Sponsor, Suckle Busters.
https://www.sucklebusters.com/
Just to name a few, there's:
Campfire Steak Seasoning
SPG
1836
Hoochie Mama
Hog Waller Honey
Clucker Dust
Texas Pecan Rub
Chipotle Sauce
Original Sweet and Spicy Sauce
That reminds me - - - I need to do an inventory and place an Order real soon.

I haven't had any Suckle Busters in a while. I was checking out their website after I posted. I liked the sound of the 1836 and the 2 Pig Mafia.

You can also find SuckleBusters at Atwoods and Buccees but they won't have the selection you can find on the website

Re: Quarantine Supplies Getting Low
Generally just make my own. As long as the black pepper, salt and garlic powder hold out I’m good. I do use a few other spices but in our house they are staples. Also make chili sauce in bulk and had just ran a batch before the madness started. I can hold out another week or two.

I plan on trying my hand at creating my own rubs at some point. May have to be sneaky about it though since the supplies will take up more room in the cabinets.

Thanks. Made it a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice. I'm too restless to just sit still in the sun so came up with this little project.BBQBark wrote:Thats a pretty cool carrying case you got there.

I have teriyaki sauce in stock at the moment. Recently, I prefer the flavors of Asian cuisine. I have tried different sauces, but I consider Kikkoman the best in terms of taste and price ratio. To put it bluntly, this is the tastiest teriyaki sauce I've ever tasted.

Re: Quarantine Supplies Getting Low
talkin'bout supplies...
I shop the charcoal ads and when there is a good price I buy many bags
but 4 years ago the Houston family that owned Academy sold it
when the family still owned it they would run their house brand of charcoal
..really 15.5# bags of RoyalOak for $2.00 a BAG!! around this time every year
back then it was normally $5 a bag
I'd get about 30 bags a year. I have a dry storage room
well those days are gone...
my reserves were getting pretty low.. down to the last 4 bags of Kingsford..
..well.. Walmart has free shipping for any order over $35
sooo I ordered 6 bags of their house brand for $6 a bag and it showed up at my front door
it was worth it not to go and have to schlep it from the store to the car, then from the car into the store room
I whined about paying $6 a bag but i sure did like the no hassle.
and to know, I had ordered it that morning and they delivered it the same afternoon
the pic is from the good ole days of the Academy house brand sale

Talking about supplies. I know many people haven't bought toilet paper in a year.
