Local Craft BBQ - Newark, Texas

Postby cowboydon » Wed May 10, 2023 7:59 am

Hey yall .. been a minute since I have joined in the fun.. Hope everyone is doing well

I wanted to share a BBQ Joint with yall that is truly and quickly becoming a front runner in the BBQ scene

Local Craft BBQ in Newark, Texas was opened a little over a year ago by brothers Steve and Jason Blount. I have been fortunate to be able to call these gentleman my brothers for well over a decade
and to be involved with and around their competition and fundraising efforts, they are extremely committed to the community - which has never faltered since we first met at the Bedford Blue Fest KCBS event (which by the way their team High Voltage BBQ got GC that day) to many many fund raising events we have done and many hours of hard work at the Houston World Championship BBQ on team Karma Que together..
Steve and Jason cooking skills are absolutely next level and their BBQ offerings are next level - plus they are always pushing the delicious envelope with new and exciting offerings
If you are in or near the DFW area - you sure do owe it to yourself to stop by and let your taste buds have a party

Howdy, C'boy Don, good to see you posting and ESPECIALLY letting us in on good BBQ locations.
Our Family has been having their Family Reunions at Azle for the last few times and maybe the Members would like to have some "catered" BBQ for the next Reunion???? It's also nice to know that they are only 30 minutes from there and since we go up a day ahead, what better place to take my "bunch" for Supper the night before.
Thanks Pardnah,

Beautiful.

Here, we have BBQ joints, but I don't trust 'em. Gluten free? Vegan? C'mon. And you'd add a sawbuck or two to each price.

If they offer Salad, don’t eat there
