On Sunday January 20th at 6:00pm Chicago time (7:pm on the East coast and 4:00pm on the West Coast) The Burnt Food Dude, himself, will be hosting an internet radio program called, BBQ 411
Tune, oops! I mean point your internet browser to..
http://www.nowlive.com/show/100260720
in your time zone at 6:00pm (Chicago time). The program has a call in feature with some local numbers you can call. Most of the numbers are in the Western U.S. However, if you sign up for GoogleTalk or have a VoIP connection, you can call for free.
There is also a "chat board" attached so you can type in questions. There is an however to this too. You have to sign up with the NowLive network It's free.
If you don't want to call, or use the chat feature, you can email questions to BFD@Gmail.com.
In any event just tune in and listen.

Thank You! Thank you! Thank you!
Right now it is an unpaid self produced program with no sponsors. First I have build up some listeners. I do have my ear tuned to 2 other "Radio Networks" that provide a lot more support but they are pay stations that allow you to sell commercial time. Plus they have regular programing streaming out 24/7.
Anybody that I mention on my program has not provide any money for mention of their product. Well, maybe one, but they actually support the Burnt Food Dude Competition BBQ Team.
The hope is to have a regular program broadcasting the 1st & 3rd Sunday of every month. I'm trying to line up some people for live, or canned, interviews. I'm close to getting Thom Emery the 2007 President of the California BBQ Association. Also I'll be getting interviews from some of the people I'm cooking against on the BBQ trail. I may even ask Gator for an interview.
BTW if you don't want to use the chat feature or call you could always send an email with your questions to BBQ411@gmail.com. I'll answer the questions on the "air".

That do sound like a good gig. I am always glad to claim to know famous radio and TV personalities. I am waiting for the show with breathless anticipation. Congrats!! Don't forget the reminder notices. Me and Sick Willy both got memories which aint as good as they once was. Now I do know whut is is..so I can claim a bit of superiority over him.
